 I'm very lucky to be related to this cute family. 

We took these photos over the summer up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake. 

It's beautiful up there! 

These kids are so cute, and they were even happy to be taking photos!

I Ride My Bike, Don't Drive No Car

This was a series of photos I took for a school project last semester. 

I'm lucky enough that one of these good lookin riders is my husband. (middle one in the first photo) 

I had never done any type of 'sport' photos - it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. 

I'm going back to school tomorrow. My very last year! I couldn't be more excited to be done with school. I'm a little nervous to be out in the real world - but as long as I can still do fun photo shoots like this, I'll be happy. 

Ernie&Ruthanne

I was out in California last month for a wedding and was able to stay with my Great Uncle Ernie and his wife Ruthanne. It was so fun getting to know more of my extended family. I had met my Great Uncle before, but not since I was probably 2 or 3 years old. I got to hear all about my Grandma growing up and what life was like for them in a small town in New Mexico. It was so fun! They have a beautiful garden - I'd never seen an artichoke plant before, they're so pretty. And my Aunt Ruthanne has tables full of these incredible orchids. Her and Ernie both have quite the green thumbs. I even got to snap a few photos of this cute couple that has been married for over 50 years. 

Think Warm Thoughts

I'm hoping that by thinking warm thoughts Spring will come faster!

I know everyone thinks their own nieces&nephews are the cutest, but mine actually are.

This is my mother-in-law, Anita. Along with 3 of her 8 horses, Wyatt, Smartie and Coffee.

How great does she look in her reining champion outfit? She's won tons of competitions with all of her beautiful horses. 

I mean, her outfit alone should win some big points, right? 

Do you know what the sad thing is though? I have still NEVER been horseback riding.

You'd think with a mother-in-law like Anita, I'd be going every week. 

I guess I just haven't found the time - so hopefully sometime in my life I will find the time to go horseback riding. 

Kauai, Hawaii

I'm really missing warm sunny weather right now, so here's a few photos from a trip to Kauai back in August. If you are ever wondering what Hawaiian Island you should go to...go to Kauai. It is by far the most beautiful island and the least touristy.
